Blas Gallego Cuello is one of the European grandmasters of pin-up art, both in illustration and comics. He started his career at an early age working for a film publicity company. He later headed his own agency and has worked extensively for the USA, doing oil paintings, posters nad book covers. His work has furthermore appeared nearly everywhere in the world, from Tokyo to Rio de Janeiro.
He was active as a comic artist in the 1980s, mainly working together with scriptwriter Luis Roca on series like 'Astraxy' (in Zona 84) and 'Ben and Katie'. His erotic comic 'Dolly' appeared in Totem, el Comix. Gallego also contributed to Dossier Negro and Penthouse Comix.
