Little is known about the Belgian comics artist C. Franchi. He was the author of the animal strip 'Zozo', about the monkey Zozo and his human companion Croquefer. The strip appeared in an obscure children's paper of Liège, Le Journal de Francette et Riquet, from 1935. However, it got a wider audience through the several reprints in books by the Touret publishers in Paris.
