Lars Andreas Fiske is a comic book artist and children's book illustrator from Oslo. He debuted in comics at the age 12 and studied illustration and graphic design in Stockholm and Los Angeles. In the mid-1980s, he published his work in the music magazine Nye Takter and some of the more important Scandinavian papers.
He published the comic books 'Matje: debutanten' (1996) and 'Matje-ismen' (2000) and his 2003 picture book 'Kom, sä løper vi!' was awarded as "Book of the Year" and "Best Picture Book" by the Norwegian government.

Together with Steffen Kverneland, Fiske created the book 'Olaf G', a comics biography of classic Norwegian cartoonist Olaf Gulbransson, in 2004. They continued their collaboration with 'Canon', a series of comic books about 19th century art for which Fiske focuses on Kurt Schwitters' life and work in Germany.
Lars Fiske is a regular contributor to A-Magasinet, the weekly supplement of the Aftenposten newspaper. He has also done a lot of art on commission, like for the House of Literature in Oslo. He is married to artist Anna Fiske.
Fiske drew a homage to Robert Crumb in the collective book 'A Tribute to Robert Crumb' (Éditions 52, 2013).
