Nené Estivill was a member of the group of artists that renewed the old Bruguera school in the 1960s. He was born in Pontevedra in 1926. In 1961 he created his character 'Agamenón' in magazine Tío Vivo (second run) of the Bruguera publishing house. This series parodied the rustic and unsophisticated everyday life in Spain's rural areas. For the same publisher he also created the female kid-strip 'La Terrible Fifí', featuring a child with mischievous behavior. |
