Bart van Erkel

Bart van Erkel contributed to the comic magazine Coyote in the mid 1980s (Drukwerk). In 1985, he worked with Martin Lodewijk on 'De Kat in Katendrecht', starring the famous 1940s character. It was also published in English by Aircel Publications. Also with Lodewijk, he made 'Matt Marteau - Zonder Twijfel' in the Titanic collection (1987). In cooperation with scriptwriters Marjanne van Nieuwpoort and Mark de Jonge, Van Erkel has illustrated four booklets starring 'Piggelmee' for the Bataafsche Teekenmaatschappij.
