Jean-Luc Englebert was born in Herve. He moved to Brussels at the age of 18 and studied at the comics atelier of the Saint-Luc Institute. He initially focused on a career in children's books, publishing his first book, 'Ourson a Disparu', with the publishing house Pastel in 1994. He did his first comics work in 2005, when he started the children's comic 'Gusgus' with Christian Durieux at the publishing house Dupuis. |
