Yacine Elghorri

Yacine Elghorri was born in Paris, France. He studied animation at the film school, after which he worked for a few TV series and drew comics for various French magazines. In 1996, he moved to the United States, where he settled in Los Angeles and worked as a special effects animator at Rich Animation Studios.

A year later, he met Japanese comic artist Katsuhiro Otomo, and was inspired to pursue comics, which he published in magazine Heavy Metal. After working as a designer and storyboard artist on several fims, he returned to Paris, where he lives and works. In 2006 he began 'Gunman' with scriptwriter Gabriel Delmas for Ed. Carabas.
