E411

E411, whose real name is David Evrard, began his career drawing for magazine Zonnekind (Averbode) with the gag comic 'Robbe en Bas'. He became a representative of the 1990s generation of Spirou artists, together with contributors like Olis, Clarke and Deth.

Since 1994, E411 was one of the main illustrators of editorial pages, like the hilarious 'Couvertures que vous ne deviez pas voir', a section with covers of famous Spirou characters that "didn't make it through the selection." He also delivered various short stories during the nineties, as well as characters like 'Maître Corbaque', 'Hervé TT' and 'Jérôme et les Gnomes' and the cartoon 'Le Porc Épique'.
