The Roman artist Gabriele Dell'Otto works as a comic book artist and illustrator. He has created art for American superhero comic books, and scientific publications. He enrolled at the European Institute of Design and for a couple of years, worked through the Illustrazione Scientifica studios in Rome. In the late 1990s, he began doing art for the European divisions of Marvel Comics, including covers, posters and lithography's. In Germany, he collaborated with DC Comics and other publishers like IPP, Egmont Ehapa and MG Publishing. By 2004, he illustrated the Marvel mini-series 'Secret Wars' with scripts by Brian Michael Bendis. Mainly an illustrator, Dell'Otto has additionally made cover art for 'Watchmen' and 'Annihilation'.
