Philippe de la Fuente was born in La Coruña, in 1969. He studied at the Art Academy in Madrid and co-founded fanzine PotaG, where he started publishing his first comics. With the same group of artists, he launched magazine Paté de Marrano, which was well received at festivals in Barcelona and Tarrassa in 1995. That same year, Philippe de la Fuente moved to Paris, France, where he joined the artists collective Trait de Plume.
