Rouletabille, by Pierre Degournay
Pierre Degournay worked for the French Opera Mundi agency from 1950 to 1969. He was specialized in comic adaptations of novels for the daily press. He adapted Jules Vernes' 'Michel Strogoff' to comics, as well as two episodes of 'Rouletabille' by Gaston Leroux (in Le Parisien Libéré). He also did romance novels, such as 'La Fauvette du Moulin' by Emile Richebourg. He has also worked on so-called "vertical comics", like 'Pontcarral', 'Maria Chapdelaine', 'Les Hommes en Blanc', but most notably 'O.S.S. 117'. The latter was continued later on by Walter Fahrer.
