Guido Da Passano was one of the illustrators of the 'Ipnos' series, written by Gianluigi Bonelli. From 1943, he made the humorous feature 'Il Professor Distrattini' in Albo Audace. He additionally drew the series 'Roal, Il Re del Mare' for Edizioni DAP. After World War II, he mainly worked for Edital. With scriptwriter Roberto Renzi, he created the comical series 'Criche e Croc', inspired by the famous couple Laurel & Hardy. He created several other characters, like 'I Terribli Moschettieri', 'Coccodè' and 'Codino'. In the early 1950s, he produced 'Bertoldino alla Corte del Gran Can', a large comic book for Edizioni E.S.A. in Milan.
