Born in Sueca, Valencia, Juan Carbó Gatignol was one of the collaborators of the publishing house Valenciana since the 1950s. For Jaimito magazine, he created characters like 'Robustiano Fortachón' and 'El Penado 113', as well as many cartoons and illustrations. For Pumby, he made 'Ivanchito'.
