Hans Buying is one of the founders of Comic House, an agency for comic artists, cartoonists, character designers and animators in Amsterdam. Among the clientele are such companies as Pepsi-Cola, Unilever, Proctor & Gamble, Sony, Intertoys, and General Motors. In the 1980s, Buying was a comic artist himself. He drew the 'Faust' series with scripts by Rein van Willigen in Robbedoes for about two years.
