After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at Utah State University, Dan Burr moved to Connecticut and eventually go on to pursue a career in illustration in New York City. Burr has been illustrating for American books and magazines since the 1990s. His images have appeared on covers from The Readers Digest to Field and Stream, and he has illustrated hundreds of book jackets for all the major publishers. As a comics artist, he has contributed to Kitchen Sink's Grateful Dead Comix and Death Rattle, as well as DC's 'Big Book' series. With writer James Vance, he the author of the award-winning graphic novel 'Kings in Disguise' (1990).
