Rick Burchett started his artistic career at Gardner Advertising in St. Louis. A comics fan, he drew a lot of fan art in the 1970s. He did his first professional comics work in the early 1980s at AC Comics, First, Pacific, Capital, Impact and Vertigo. He then joined DC, where he remained ever since. His fist work at the company was 'Blackhawk', which was followed by titles like 'Black Diamond', 'Black Hood', 'E-Man', 'Batman', 'American Flagg' and 'Great American Western'. |
