The career of Harry Buckinx took off when his drawings were published in the Dutch magazine Hitweek in 1968. Three years later, the magazine Aloha also published his drawings. In both magazines, he published his comic 'Titula', a strip about the weird happenings in the life of a young man and woman. Besides his work for Tante Leny Presenteert, Harry Buckinx also drew another comic, 'De Familie Aapjesbroekjes', which was published in Vrije Geluiden. Most of his comics tell a story about the habits of people that eventually turn against them.
