Enquêtes de Vincent Muraz, by Buche
Eric Buchshacher made his first comics for several fanzines after his studies in fine arts. Because he found his last name quite unpronounceable, he took on the pseudonym Buche. He was inspired by his military service to create his first long story: 'Carapaces'. This comic, about a young pacifistic and philosophical soldier, was published at Essai. He continued with two stories of the series 'Hélène Cartier', with scenarios by Christian Perrissin, for Humanos. After several illustrations, posters and advertising illustrations, Buch turned to realistic comics in 1997. That year he created the first volume of the 'Enquêtes de Vincent Muraz'. At the same time, Buche cooperates on the magazine Tcho! with the humorous series 'Franky Snow'. For that same magazine, he makes a series of popstar parodies, called 'Starniouzes'.
