Maurice Besseyrias was an artist for the French pocket books, or so-called "petits formats". For the publishing house Aventures et Voyages (Mon Journal), he was the main artist of the 'Diavolo' monthly (title comic and cover) in 1948-49, and one of the illustrators for 'Brik', both in cooperation with scriptwriter J.-K. Melwyn-Nash. Through the studios of Pierre Mouchot (Chott), he drew for the title strip of Big Bill le Casseur in the 1950s. |
