Sarah Becan was born in Orange, Texas. She studied arts and modern languages at Beloit College in Wisconsin. She publishes most of her own work, which has been mainly mini-comics so far, like 'The Ouija Interviews', and 'The Monkeynauts'. She also draws the semi-regular webcomic 'Bucket and Dog'.Becan had pieces published in Buzzard Magazine, Barrelhouse, Futurebomb, Sleepwalk and Seoul Classified, and was briefly a comics blogger for Chicago Metroblogs. She runs Shortpants Press with Jason Robards, where they moderate a Gag Panel challenge every month. In 2005, she created 'Somnilogues', and each of the short stories in this series has to do with dreams.
