Federico Bertolucci began studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara in 1998. That same year, he was hired by Disney Italy to draw for the magazines Topolino and Minnie. In 2001, he joined the art staff of the magazine 'W.i.t.c.h.', for which he has illustrated stories and covers. He has also contributed covers and illustrations to 'Monster Allergy', as well as a series of short stories with 'The Flintstones' in Il Sole 24 Ore' and the coloring for the comic adaptation of Disney's 'Lilo & Stitch'. He has cooperated with writer Frédéric Brrémaud on 'Richard Coeur De Lion', which was published by Soleil in August 2005.
