Nick Baker was the original artist of 'Smiler', that first appeared in Whoopee! in March 1976. A popular feature in the 1980s, the character also featured in a weekly 'Smile-In' which featured a selection of jokes and gags sent in by readers. In the 1990s, 'Smiler' was also printed in Whizzer & Chips. Baker was also the artist of 'SOS - Save Our Stan' in Monster Fun and Buster. |
