Dirk Arend

The Dutch cartoonist Dirk Arend was born in Katwijk aan Zee. In 1980 he began his career with the comic 'Jan Hagel' in Het Leidsch Dagblad. His comics, 'Olivier Flap' among others, were published in the Buijze Persbladen, Happy voor Kids, and Telekids. Since 2001 he draws for Holco publishers and on the Internet.
